This book is the Italian version of the work by Professor Mao Dexi, in translation by two Italian doctors who became his disciples. The book, which presents the Italian translation of the Chinese original, has a popular, easy-to-understand and concise slant but is the fruit of long experience and is punctual in its scientific rigour. It presents the four diagnostic methods in TCM, the differentiation of syndromes according to various criteria and the treatment of some common pathologies. The text is completed by a colour atlas on tongue diagnosis, an appendix on pulse patterns and lists of formulas and medicines mentioned in the text, with an indication of remedies available in Italy.
