Wooden box for moxibustion

Intended use and general description

Box for applying indirect moxibustion to a point or area. Made of wood, with the inside made of metal for housing the moxa. On two sides a hole with a slide lock allows the heat to be regulated. Equipped with a wooden lid. Dimensions: 13.5 x 9.5 x 10 cm. Weight: 390g

Instructions for use

You place the box on the area to be treated, possibly securing it with plasters or an elastic band. You then insert two to three slices of moxa cigar into the central slot of the metal plate, turn on the slice and close the box with its lid. Then adjust the opening of the holes by moving the slide latch: open or semi-open for moderate moxibustion, closed for intense moxibustion. Once the treatment is finished, remove the box, remove the ash and clean the plate with a damp cloth.
